This work examines the role of religion in American politics and the concept of separation of church and state. 700+ audio clips referencing religion were collected from the University of Virginia’s Miller Center presidential speech archive beginning with the first recorded speeches of Warren G. Harding in 1917 and continuing until present day. These clips are randomly selected to play in intervals of 60 seconds when activated by the viewer.
